We are delighted to share highlights from our poster, ‘The 2025 QPIDS Census: A landscape of recovery, adaption and new challenges, 5 years since SARS-COV2’ presented at BSI CIPN in December 2025. This census represents a significant collaborative effort, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr Sarah Goddard, Dr Will Bermingham, Rashi Joshi, and Harrison Obamwonyi for their dedication to the analysis and production of this work.

The QPIDS census, running since 2017, provides a unique snapshot of clinical immunology services across the UK and Ireland. This year’s data, collected from 27 services, offers valuable insights into workforce trends, service delivery, and evolving challenges in the post-pandemic landscape. We are very grateful to all services who submitted their data, your input is vital for driving quality improvement and benchmarking across the sector. 

The census enables services to benchmark against the national picture, supporting ongoing development and best practice. The findings dovetail with the BSI CIPN workforce report, together offering a comprehensive view of the current landscape and future needs in clinical immunology. 

A full outcome report from the 2025 census will be released in 2026. Thank you to everyone involved: your commitment is helping shape the future of immunology services.
