What can we do to get accredited more quickly?

Accreditation supports a service improvement mindset and engaging meaningfully in the process is important. There are some top tips we recommend, to help services achieve accreditation:

> Set up a project team, involving clinical and non-clinical colleagues in the process.

> Assign standards to different individuals to spread the workload and get engagement across the team.

> Seek engagement from your senior managers.

> Use the resources in the Resource Library. This has documents from other services who are participating in the accreditation process and they can help provide a template to support you, rather than starting from scratch, therefore easing the workload.

> Attend our service training and support sessions and engage in online events about the standards, to better prepare yourself for what evidence is required.
