No; accreditation is an improvement journey and we do not expect services to be ready when they join. Services should register with the programme as soon as possible in order to take advantage of the support available, which includes:
> attendance at training sessions to help prepare your team for accreditation
> regular support sessions covering aspects of the standards and areas that services need extra help with
> access to the website including the full set of standards and evidence requirement
> access to the resource library, which contains examples of best practice from across accredited services.
